Food Drive in South Portland
We know this year has been tough for everyone, but it has been especially difficult for some. It can be hard to know who needs help, and how to help. That's why we're grateful for organizations like the South Portland Food Cupboard, where they are offering support, food and other essentials to those in need.
We'd like to ask you, our friends, family, and neighbors, to join us and give a little - if you can. We know it's a lot to ask, so we are going to lead the charge with a Food Drive at our South Portland Bakery, every 3rd Sunday, starting this upcoming Sunday, 3/21/21.
You can bring a lot, or a little, and we will make sure that all donations go to the Food Cupboard for distribution. You can view an updated list of items that would be most helpful at SouthPortlandFoodCupboard.ORG
If you have any questions or would like more information, feel free to reach out to us at 207-536-7713, or email: email@example.com

Celebrate Black History Month: We are SO excited to partner with Print: A Bookstore & Nonesuch Books & More to celebrate Black History Month! We will have a display of books by famous Black American authors at both locations available for purchase.
Join us as we celebrate & salute the voices of Black American authors by sharing the stories that have inspired, informed, & illuminated our worlds.
With our “Baking That Matters” program, we chose organizations with unique or underrepresented voices. So, for Black History Month, we want to continue that effort to elevate stories, voices and viewpoints through our craft and in partnership with other businesses that are community minded.
Our special author-inspired decorated shortbread cookies are our way of paying tribute to the power of storytelling, and the significance it has in our lives. We will have the following titles available for purchase at both locations throughout February:
I Know Why The Caged Bird Sings, by Maya Angelou
The Color Purple, by Alice Walker
Hitting a Straight Lick with a Crooked Stick: Stories from the Harlem Renaissance, by Zora Neale Hurston
Two Fat Cats Bakery is going places! After 15 years at India St., our bakery has grown and we have moved to 195 Lancaster St., in the Bayside neighborhood of Portland, Maine.
